Chuck has been asking me to post this for a while. It it my character sheet template (for D&D 3.5) in Excel format. I cleaned it up last night so that the cells are linked with the attribute bonuses. Thus, when you enter your attribute bonus or base attack bonus in the attribute stat block, these numbers are populated in all of the places they go (saving throws, skills, attacks, etc.).
I think all of the links work. If they do not, let me know so I can fix them on my sheet as well.
To download the sheet, right click here, and choose save as. Please note that the file is a template file. That means you should put it with the rest of your templates. For example, if you are using Windows XP and Office 2003, it is likely located at C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates. Your mileage may vary with other installations.

Now I have to learn how to use templates? You’re asking for a lot.

nice but you forgot hide and move silently in skills and a place for spells

John Doe. True and true. With respect to the first point, we have adopted Monte Cook’s Arcana Unearthed theory of combining hide and move silently into a single skill Stealth.
With respect to spells. When I have a spell caster, I make up separate charts for spells. Because all of my spellcasters are different, I have not gotten around to making a spell template.

If you could add the formula to calculate the ability bonus it would be a tad more user friendly for instance in STR bonus adding the formula “=ROUNDDOWN((c6-10)/2)”. Just a suggestion.

Thanks for the great idea Kayla. I will do that. I don’t know why I didn’t think of it before.
