The real irony is that many of the gamers I know, myself included, are registered Republicans. Most of the folks I knew that were liberals back in the D&D heyday were too stoned or busy working on their macrame science projects to settle down and play a game that involved conquest and empire building. I guess that goes to show you how out of touch the aging Republican party is – they can’t even identify their own demographic. Won’t matter much, most of us are ready for a change anyway.
