A recent press release has reported that Gen Con has signed to be in Indianapolis through 2015. I have to admit that I am happy about this. I think Indy has been a great host city and I find the downtown area very convenient and welcoming. Of course, Indy gets something out of this as well. The press release reports that Gen Con:
generates an annual attendance of more than 28,000 with estimated visitor spending at $26.9 million.
Not bad. $27 million bucks from a bunch of geeks.
